DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and reliability of all systems across the organization. This role manages server infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, and automation to support efficient and scalable operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the stability, security, and reliability of all systems across the organization.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
Implement strong security controls, including access management, firewall configuration, encryption, API security, and continuous monitoring.
Support setup and operation of Federated FHIR servers, gateways, and interoperability mechanisms.
Automate operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to maintain high uptime and performance.
Perform system hardening, vulnerability scans, and security audits regularly.
Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Health Informatics teams to ensure seamless integration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Open to candidates from reputable bootcamps with relevant hands-on experience.
2–3 years of professional experience in a related field.
Experience may include internships, intensive bootcamps, or well-documented personal/academic projects.
Linux: Comfortable working with command-line interface (CLI) and performing basic server administration.
Networking & Web Fundamentals: Solid understanding of IP addressing, subnets, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and basic understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) concepts and workflows.
Version Control: Proficient in using Git (branching, merging, pull requests) as the primary source of truth.
Scripting: Ability to write and debug scripts in at least one language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, or JavaScript) to automate tasks.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
