IT Leads
The IT Lead is responsible for leading the organization’s IT strategy, systems, and digital infrastructure to support program implementation, data management, and operational efficiency. This role ensures secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that align with SID’s mission and programmatic needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Establish IT policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and donor requirements.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal systems (MIS, databases, dashboards, collaboration tools).
Implement data protection protocols and access controls.
Support ethical and secure handling of beneficiary and research data.
Collaborate with program teams to design tech-enabled solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems, data management, or digital solutions.
Experience in NGO, health, or development sector is highly preferred.
Strong data management skills (SQL, Excel, data processing).
Experience with digital data collection tools (Kobo, ODK, CommCare).
Proficiency in dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio).
Understanding of system integration, APIs, and automation.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection practices.
