The Summit Institute for Development (SID) welcomed an onsite visit from the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiatives (CISDI) to enhance primary health care through digital innovation. Over two days, the CISDI team explored SID’s digital ecosystem and witnessed firsthand the implementation of technology in the field.
Day 1: Exploring SID’s Digital Health Ecosystem
The visit began with introductions from Yurdhina Meilissa (CISDI) and Yuni Dwi Setiyawati (SID), followed by an in-depth presentation on SID’s framework, workflow, and digital infrastructure. The CISDI team observed key innovations such as Dynamic Worker Support (DWS), WhatsApp API & Call Center, and the Live Dashboard, which improve health service efficiency through a data-driven approach.
Day 2: Visiting Posyandu and Seeing Technology in Action
The CISDI team continued their visit to a Posyandu in SID-assisted areas to see how technology supports maternal and child health services. The BidanKu application simplifies health record-keeping and monitoring, while DWS helps midwives and community health workers deliver more effective services.
