As we enter the second half of 2026, Summit Institute for Development (SUMMIT) took a moment to pause, reflect on the journey so far, and look ahead to the road forward.
From 7–9 August 2026, SUMMIT held its Mid-Year Review Meeting with the Board of Advisors, Board of Supervisor, and Management team. The meeting served as an important opportunity to reflect on the organization’s progress since the beginning of the year while ensuring that our efforts remain aligned with a shared direction.

Over the three-day meeting, the team reviewed key achievements and progress made throughout the year. At the same time, challenges and areas that still require improvement were openly discussed, creating space for learning and organizational growth.
For SUMMIT, a review is not simply about looking at what worked and what did not. It is about learning from the process, understanding where we can do better, and strengthening the way we work together.

The Mid-Year Review also provided an opportunity to align our understanding of the organization’s priorities and direction moving forward. With greater clarity and shared perspectives, SUMMIT aims to enter the second half of 2026 with stronger focus, better coordination, and a clearer path toward greater impact.
Organizational growth does not always happen in a straight line. But through reflection, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement, every experience can become a foundation for what comes next.
Reflect. Align. Improve. Move Forward.
